met June on Tuesday to get our nails done for CNY, heh =) *smiles* work for the rest of de wk till tadah, Friday! gee. Firstly, it was my boy's birthday! Secondly, our dept have lunch treat, so YAY :) hehe =p lunch was at Hyatt's Straits Kitchen buffet, gosh, the food's so yummy! *greedy* really delicious! shall bring my family there one day =) it was a gr8 lunch and a gr8 get-together wif one another. even better, the boss gave us an unofficial half day! hehe =)

so my colleagues & i wen off shopping. din buy anythg tho, but we relieve some kiddish moments by taking neo print! LOL. one by one left to meet frens & bf.. leaving the 3 lonely ones! lol, haha. my boy could book out early too, but he la.. he and his crazy cars.. he wen wif his family to see cars, wifout telling me and makin me wait for 5 hours! i wanna complain! *angry* the plan of just to 'see cars' ended up becoming 'buying car', lol.. and when tt happens, i am being put one side! ahha.

anyway, the car will arrive in one wk's time, and my boy has been tellin me how excited he is. faint faint~ the first thing my father will ask is the car plate number, lol, triple faint.

oh yea, so the 3 lonely gals decided to chill out @ Balcony @ Heerens. haven been thr b4 tho. nice ambience, seats a bit too high tho. ahha. im short =p

for the first time, i wasnt the one hu initiated to tk pics ok! hehe. i finally found someone more siao than me. gee =p

we left soon after ard 7+ as it was going to rain. had a gr8 time tho. *smiles* i'll really miss them if they leave (some are intending to already). my boy picked me up @ Bugis den we had a very late dinner @ Fish & Co to celebrate his birthday. =)

tis boy surprised me wif some flowers, and told me to tk a pic wif it, lol. cos i tink he wun be buying flowers any time sooner? heh, jokes.


heh. i also had a prezzie for him! lol.. made 21 cookies! wahahah~ had a hard time doing it on Thurs nite. the flour was simply just too stubborn! but it tunr out quite good tho, hehe =) its 21 heart-shaped cookies and i made it into 'I LUV U'! not very obvious la, but tried my best liao :p



we catched "Cheaper By The Dozen 2" thereafter @ Marina Square. nice show! damn funny~ i told him "i wan 12 children!" and was scolded as "crazy!", LOL~ hahaha.

checked out Essential Brew @ HV after that. and bumped into his army frens! lol.. so qiao~

super tired after that, and we wen off to dreamland. lol.. the ZzzZZzzz monster~ awaiting reunion dinner now. =) alrite shall see wad i can help out wif, tata =)

Used to spend most of my holidays working in the service line. Now that I’m not exactly in the service line, I often complain to my boy how much I wish to go back to the good old days of serving customers. Most importantly, to see the smile on their faces. =)

Tho retail hours are tiring and weekends are most likely burnt, the joy and satisfaction you get exceeds all the torture of standing long hours. Of cuz, there are those cruel customers who will make things difficult for you, but those are minority lar. I choose to believe that nicer people are greater in proportion than those nasty people. =)

Having to work in the banking line, I dun get to stand for like 8-10 hours? Instead, half of my life is spent sitting down, lol. I get to talk to customers and serviced their requests, but the lack of face-to-face touch is different. I see my colleagues quarreling with their bosses because of some communication on the phone & emails. Often, misunderstandings can happen across the phone. Thus, if I were to choose, I wld prefer a face-to-face conversation. J

Heh. Nevertheless, very happy today, at work. =) Was talking to this client of the bank, who’s been very friendly from the first day I spoke to her, even till today. She was telling me bout how happy she is that their company is shutting down for 1 week for CNY and ask if the bank has such practice too (of cuz not! Heh). We started a small lil conversation about her family life blah blah. Lucky her, has one son and daughter, both in Uni and graduating the same time! So nice rite! Then we concluded 'after that, can kiao kah! (shake leg)' *smiles* Afterwhich, she asked if I wanna come over during CNY! *faint* The conversation didn’t seemed awkward at all. I dun like clients who draw a line. If we can talk to them like 'friends', I believe it wld make a better business partnership, isnt it not?

I’m so happy to be able to meet such client who indeed brought joy to me, especially today. =) Thank you for that call. It brightened my day *smiles*

*-on a lighter note, i jus finished baking chocolate chip cookies! hehe. =p mummy says its nice, YAY :) its for my boy actually, first time doing it tho. Hope he likes it. If he doesnt, den too bad le :/ feelin super tired now, sleepin time-*

people often asks.. "would you rather choose to be wif someone tt u love more than he loves u or vice versa?" mayb today, i can find an answer to that question.. I'll have someone hu loves me more. I might not have so much time in life :/

what is the basis of a r/s? They say love is to accept all his/her flaws, does that include lies as well?

I see people tokin bout marriages, planning for their future wif their bfs, and i start to tink what will my future be like? young no doubt, but thinkin bout it means u hav plans to live your life wif tt future someone yes? Its a blessing to say 'i do' and prolly every gal's dream to get married and 'live happily after'. how fairytale is that~ but how many end up divorcing each other? the reality is scary.

mayb im startin to understand why my frens always sae they wld choose to be still a baby, - cos most likely, you'll be taken care of, wif extreme care n concern! as u get older, if you're lucky you have your family & soulmate to stay by you. if you're not tt fortunate, you have your family by your side. but 20-30 yrs down the road, you might jus be the only one, supporting urself to survive in tis cruel selfish world.

i hav no idea what god has set in for me. im scared, cos i dun tink 2006 is a gd year for me. its only the first month, and im reali fearful. things seemed so perfect, but when the truth is out, the battle is lost. once bitten, twice shy.

going back to work tmr after taking 2 days leave to study. cant wait for the wkend for some good rest. =) the wkend will be spent celebrating Wernie's 21st birthday & Dad's birthday! *smiles* Soon, CNY is arriving! heh. *lookin forward*

dear's finally back =) heh heh. picked him up on Thursday! surprised him wif tarts i made! hehe~ dear bought some sweet stuff from Brunei back. hehe, an interesting 'bank love cheque' (lol) and my fav winnie de pooh stickers! *smiles* thank u hunney! had breakfast wif his mum while he narrated to us his horrible trip, hehe :p

supposed to surprise him with his bdae gift, but din realise he aldy knew wad i got for him! sigh! *sad* its a personalised iPod Nano! =) black sexy colour! hehe :p personalised cos it has engravings done at de back! hehe. hope u like it dear :)

slept de whole afternoon thereafter. im tired myself too, lol, after only slpin for a few hrs. :/ woke up, and it was aldy de evening, hehe =p had some walk done @ PS where we had our dinner there too. :)

Friday was a FOOD day! hehe *grin* we had lunch buffet togeda wif his army frens, to celebrate those January babies =p I ate at Royal Plaza on Scotts again! *faint* so coincidental hur. too bad, lunch buffet did not provide chocolate fondue! *sob* nevertheless, food still taste nice. i tink de lunch is kinda better than de dinner? =) it was a nice gathering. they r another funny bunch of guys, lol.

after lunch, waited for de delivery man to send de cake down. heng he came on time, wen we jus reached. =) headed to J Bar to deposit de cake there to refrigerate it, heh.

our dinner was also satisfying as we settled our hungry stomachs @ Esplanade's Humble House Restaurant! =) de place looked so grand, i tout dey wld chase me out, cos i was in slippers! *geez* of cuz dey din lar, hehe :p
